In a stunning breakthrough, Bangkok police apprehended an 18-year-old man at a local condominium, charged with luring a 16-year-old boy into making explicit content for OnlyFans. This arrest follows an investigation spearheaded by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) and the International Protection Alliance (IPA), who tracked down illicit activities beginning with two suspicious X accounts.
The probe, which kicked off last September, revealed that these X accounts directed users to an OnlyFans account packed with adult videos. Scrutiny showed that the 18-year-old, known only as A, managed both the X accounts and the OnlyFans channel. The officers, after discreetly subscribing to the account, unearthed a host of adult videos, with some starring a teenage boy alongside A and another man.
With irrefutable evidence in hand, authorities raided A's condominium on January 31. The raid resulted in his arrest, where he confessed to producing pornographic videos with the young boy and a cohort. The illicit videos, primarily filmed at his condo, often spotlighted swinger activities involving at least three men.
“We urge parents and teenagers to stay vigilant against such predators,” a CIB official warned.
Evidence seized from the scene included mobile phones, computers, a camera, and various recording devices, all utilized in the production of the pornographic content.
This arrest echoes a similar crackdown from April last year, where a married couple faced charges for adult content creation involving a teenage boy on OnlyFans. Another alarming incident in May involved a family of 11 accused of incest and pornography production, further spotlighting the vulnerabilities of youth in the digital age.
The CIB continues to stress the importance of safeguarding minors from exploitation, especially in an era where offenders leverage platforms like OnlyFans for illicit financial gain.
