Raid in Paradise: Bali Studio Under Scrutiny

Bali police have launched an investigation following a raid on a local studio, uncovering equipment allegedly used to create explicit online content. Among those detained is Tia Emma Billinger, better known as Bonnie Blue, a British adult content creator, alongside other foreign nationals. Out of the 18 people taken in, five – including Bonnie – remain under investigation, while the rest were released as witnesses.

The case has taken a serious turn due to reports of individuals as young as 17 being present at the site. However, authorities have clarified that these minors are being treated as witnesses, not suspects. The raid's timing, coinciding with Australia's 'Schoolies' celebrations, has raised concerns about underage participation in adult content.

Schoolies Scandal: Underage Witnesses in the Spotlight

On December 4, 2025, Bali authorities acted on a tip-off and stormed the studio in Pererenan Village, Badung. The operation, led by police and immigration officers, found cameras and other equipment believed to be used for filming adult content. Authorities are currently analyzing digital evidence to determine if formal charges will be filed under Indonesia's strict Pornography Act.

Interestingly, of the 18 questioned, ages ranged from 17 to 40, with the younger attendees identified as merely witnesses. Bonnie Blue's promotion of her Bali trip during the popular Australian 'Schoolies' period has drawn media attention, fueling speculation over her involvement with the underage group.

“The presence of underage witnesses has shifted the investigation's focus, though no formal charges have been laid yet,” remarked a police spokesperson.

Bonnie Blue's Past and the Case's Future

Bonnie Blue's name isn’t new to controversy. Earlier in 2025, she claimed to have engaged in intimate encounters with over 1,000 men in a single day, capturing media attention worldwide. Her removal from a major adult subscription platform due to policy violations further marked her contentious career.

While the investigation is ongoing, Indonesian police have underlined that the current focus is on potential breaches of local laws concerning adult content production. Until forensic investigators complete their analysis, the case remains a developing story involving international legal intricacies and the protection of young individuals.
