A British adult film sensation, known in the industry as Bonnie Blue, is facing the threat of deportation from Bali, Indonesia. Authorities claim she violated immigration laws after an arrest linked to suspicions of producing adult content on the popular tourist island. Police made the arrest last week during a raid on a studio in the bustling Badung area, close to Denpasar, Bali's capital. Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, was reportedly caught alongside three men – two from Britain and one from Australia – after a tip-off from a concerned local.
In a public statement, the local police chief, Muhammad Arif Batubara, shared that a joint investigation is underway regarding potential criminal acts involving pornographic material. "We are conducting a joint investigation regarding activities involving alleged criminal acts of pornography or material that violates decency," Arif explained to the press in Denpasar. Immigration officials are moving swiftly, with Bali airport immigration chief, Winarko, emphasizing their intent to deport and blacklist the accused individuals. "We will immediately take firm action, deport them, and submit them for blacklisting," Winarko stated.
“We are conducting a joint investigation regarding activities involving alleged criminal acts of pornography or … material that violates decency,” Arif told journalists in Denpasar.
Despite the serious nature of the allegations, police and immigration authorities have so far not unearthed concrete evidence of any pornographic materials being produced by the group. This lack of evidence leaves the case in a delicate balance as legal proceedings continue. This situation underlines the strict immigration and decency laws that Bali upholds, especially in the tourism-heavy areas.
