In a shocking turn of events, New York State Police have arrested 29-year-old Justin J. Wallak from Camillus, accusing him of distributing child sexual abuse materials through a social media app. Wallak faces two felony charges — one for possessing a sexual performance by a child and another for not registering as a sex offender.
The charges against Wallak are the culmination of a comprehensive investigation involving several law enforcement agencies. The State Police Computer Crime Unit – Troop D, along with the Troop D Bureau of Criminal Investigation – North Syracuse, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the Camillus Police Department, and the FBI, collaborated to uncover these serious offenses.
“We urge anyone with additional information to come forward, as there might be more victims,” stated the State Police spokesperson.
