Connor Storrie, star of Heated Rivalry, has quickly become a familiar face at Studio 8H. The actor touched down in New York City just in time for the Met Gala, but not before making a surprise pit stop at Saturday Night Live. On Saturday night, Storrie delighted fans by introducing Olivia Rodrigo’s latest single, "Begged," during the live broadcast.
"We literally landed, dropped my bags off, instantly went to the studio," Storrie recounted from his hotel room, reflecting on his whirlwind entrance into the Big Apple. After forming a bond with SNL's talent booker Keri Powers during his own hosting gig, Storrie was thrilled to make a brief yet memorable cameo. "It was also nice to watch the performance and not be riddled with anxiety," he shared.
Storrie carried that sense of calm with him onto the Met Gala's iconic red carpet, marking the pinnacle of a six-month awards-season marathon. From the Golden Globes to Paris Fashion Week, this Texas-born star has dazzled at every turn. A year ago, Storrie and co-star Hudson Williams were just starting their journey from waiters to leads in the Crave series. "I’m able to just be myself and flow," Storrie proclaimed, reflecting on how far he’s come.
For his grand Met Gala entrance, Storrie collaborated closely with stylist James Yardley and Saint Laurent, the event's official exhibition-catalog sponsor. After signing an exclusive deal with the French fashion house earlier this year, Storrie sported a chic twist on the classic Le Smoking tuxedo, complete with a polka-dot halter top and a dramatic pussy-bow train. Even Saint Laurent’s creative director, Anthony Vaccarello, had to admit, "I know everyone is fighting over him. And if you fight, I take."
