When you think of paths to fame, hardcore music and adult films might not typically sit side by side. Yet, Biohazard's bassist Evan Seinfeld successfully navigated both worlds, and he knows which one paid off. "I made more money in the first three years of the porn business than I made in 20 years of playing in Biohazard," Seinfeld candidly shared, highlighting the stark difference in financial rewards between the two careers.
Seinfeld's journey into adult entertainment began in the early 2000s with his then-wife, Tera Patrick, a renowned figure in the industry. "It was entirely unintentional because I met my second wife, Tera Patrick, who was a huge star, and we fell in love," he explained. The couple turned their personal chemistry into a business venture, capitalizing on a time before platforms like Pornhub changed the landscape by offering free content.
“The truth is, I’ve always been kind of an exhibitionist, and it was an interesting experience. I did that for many years and I enjoyed it, but I took it very seriously.”
Seinfeld's adult film career spanned from 2001 until 2009, coinciding with his personal relationship with Patrick. Following their divorce and his departure from the industry, he launched "IsMyGirl," a platform empowering amateurs to sell their own content. Meanwhile, his musical journey with Biohazard saw its own ups and downs. After leaving in 2011, Seinfeld rejoined the band in 2022, marking a new chapter with the release of "Divided We Fall."
As Biohazard's original lineup reassembles, Seinfeld reflects on his diverse career choices. While the future of the band remains to be seen, he clearly hasn't ruled out a return to other ventures if needed. In the ever-evolving world of music and entertainment, Seinfeld knows he's got options.
