The legal saga surrounding the ex-Nashville police officer involved in a scandalous incident with an OnlyFans star has finally come to a close. Sean Herman, 35, who was caught on tape groping the chest of the popular content creator known as Jordin, has received his sentence more than a year after the video surfaced. The Nashville criminal court accepted Herman's 'best interest' plea for a felony official misconduct charge, ensuing a year of supervised probation. Another charge against him was dismissed, according to the Associated Press.
Herman's misconduct led to his dismissal from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) in May 2024, merely a day after detectives were alerted to the explicit video. Despite the conclusion of the case, MNPD has decided to stay mum on the sentencing, declining to provide any comments to Fox News Digital.
The OnlyFans star involved in the incident, Jordin, has not shied away from expressing her disappointment with how the case was handled. "I actually wrapped my Porsche GT3 in a ‘metro flashing unit’ to express my issue with their handling of this case," she revealed to Fox News Digital. Jordin alleged that the prosecution stalled the case multiple times, unable to substantiate claims that Herman acted for 'monetary gain.'
The video that sparked the controversy had Jordin being 'pulled over' by Herman in a staged traffic stop, leading to the provocative encounter. News Channel 5 noted that although the officer's face was concealed, Herman could be identified by the MNPD patch visible in the footage.
“That was one of the most outrageous, disrespectful acts a person here could do,” commented police spokesperson Don Aaron, highlighting the impact on MNPD.
By entering a 'best interest' plea, Herman does not contest the charges but maintains his factual innocence. He has been granted judicial diversion, providing a path to potentially have the case dismissed and expunged after probation, contingent on adhering to the judge’s stipulations.
As the dust settles on this high-profile case, both Herman and Jordin face the repercussions of their actions, with public and legal scrutiny likely to follow them in the future.
