Fetish Daddy's First London Shop

The kink scene in London just got a lot more exciting as Fetish Daddy, the luxury leather and rubber brand, opens its first-ever brick-and-mortar store in the capital. Known for crafting unique designs, Fetish Daddy has made a name for itself by catering to the queer community with its stylish harnesses and ready-to-wear leather collections.

We caught up with Ollie Spragley, the mastermind behind Fetish Daddy, during the store's grand opening. "I'm really thrilled that we are launching this shop," Spragley shared. "It's a massive milestone for us, becoming more of a destination for people to explore our designs." Originally starting in his living room crafting harnesses for his dogs, Spragley's creations quickly gained popularity with both pet shops and queer clientele.

From Custom Creations to Ready-to-Wear

Fetish Daddy's journey from bespoke creations to a ready-to-wear line reflects its evolving focus on inclusivity. "We've now come up with a range that should fit everyone," Spragley explained, noting the importance of accessible fashion for all body types. With a dedicated team of ten, all part of the LGBTQ+ community, the shop offers a welcoming space for personal expression and exploration.

The store operates Monday to Friday, 10 am to 7 pm, with similar weekend hours. Entry is by ringing the doorbell – a nod to privacy and exclusivity akin to London’s Fetish Freak. Once inside, visitors can browse an array of leather and latex pieces, discuss custom designs, or simply explore their kinks in a supportive environment.

Spotlight on 'Pillion' and Attitude Uncut

Fetish Daddy’s shop opening coincides with the release of the film ‘Pillion,' a project that has captured the imagination of the LGBTQ+ community. The film stars Alexander Skarsgård and Harry Melling and explores themes of kink and self-discovery. The film inspired the launch of Attitude Uncut, a digital magazine by Attitude, set to dive deep into themes resonating with the queer audience.

Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters fame wears Fetish Daddy's custom latex apron in ‘Pillion,’ showcasing the brand's craftsmanship. Spragley has fond memories of creating the piece: "I had a few fittings with him. It was really, really good fun. It’s great to see that out and being talked about."

A Community Hub for Self-Expression

Beyond fashion, Fetish Daddy aims to be a community hub where people can safely explore their identities. "It's about being a place where people can be themselves," Spragley emphasized. The store's atmosphere encourages customers to discover and embrace their desires, a philosophy reflected in their past collaborations with iconic figures like the Cock Destroyers.

For those eager to explore, Fetish Daddy is located at 25 Spelman Street, London, E1 5LQ. For more information, visit their official website. To delve into the themes of 'Pillion,' subscribe to Attitude magazine in print or through their app and follow their updates across social media platforms.
