Women in the Philippines Dominate Pornhub Viewership

In a surprising revelation from Pornhub’s "Year in Review" for 2025, Filipinas have emerged as some of the most active viewers of adult content on the platform. The report highlights that women from the Philippines make up 64% of all visitors to the site, distinguishing the country as one of the few where female viewers outnumber their male counterparts.

This year, the Philippines clinched the third spot globally in terms of site traffic, trailing only behind the United States, which holds the top position, and Mexico. The data indicates a significant engagement from Filipinos, who are spending progressively more time on the site compared to previous years.

Youthful and Mobile-Savvy Audience

The average session for Filipino users lasted 10 minutes and 53 seconds, marking an increase of nearly two minutes from the last year. This trend is primarily driven by a youthful audience, with 49% of the traffic originating from the 18 to 24 age demographic. An additional 29% comes from those aged 25 to 34, underscoring the platform's appeal among younger users.

“It’s clear that the Filipino audience is both young and keenly engaged with mobile technology,” a tech analyst noted, emphasizing the country's high mobile usage rate.

Indeed, the use of phones dominates how content is consumed, with a whopping 96% of users accessing Pornhub through their mobile devices. This places the Philippines among the highest globally for mobile viewership.

Local Content and Search Trends

Interestingly, Filipinos are particularly interested in content featuring other Filipinos. The report reveals that "Pinay" was the most searched term within the country, while it also secured the third spot in global searches. This reflects a strong preference for locally relevant content among Filipino users.

As these trends continue to evolve, they not only highlight shifting patterns in content consumption but also point to the unique ways in which different demographics interact with digital platforms.
