Shannon Elizabeth's Stunning OnlyFans Debut

In a blockbuster first week on OnlyFans, Shannon Elizabeth pulled in a jaw-dropping $1.2 million (£907,000) since launching her account on April 16. The 'American Pie' star is the latest to join the ranks of celebrities cashing in on this lucrative platform, as reported by Variety.

Andy Bachman, CEO of Creators Inc., confirmed the news, revealing Elizabeth hit seven figures within days. She joins the likes of Bhad Bhabie, Mia Khalifa, and 'The Sopranos' star Drea de Matteo in turning their star power into substantial earnings through subscription-based content.

Bella Thorne Set the Pace

Before Elizabeth's success, Bella Thorne made headlines by becoming the first to earn $1 million (£756,000) in just 24 hours in August 2020. Despite some controversy over the content delivered, Thorne paved the way for celebrities to leverage OnlyFans for quick financial wins.

While Thorne's entry led to some platform changes, including caps on tips and pay-per-view pricing, her rapid rise underscored the financial potential for stars willing to share exclusive content with fans.

Others Cashing In Big

Rapper Bhad Bhabie took a slightly slower but immensely profitable route, revealing a remarkable $71 million (£53.7 million) in gross revenues since joining in April 2021. That trajectory shows the potential longevity of income from the platform.

“The financial possibilities on OnlyFans are unmatched, and it's a way to connect like never before,” Elizabeth shared in a recent interview.

OnlyFans' 20% commission model means creators like Elizabeth and others still pocket substantial earnings. With the platform's cut, Elizabeth is left with around $960,000 (£726,000) before taxes and fees, a testament to the opportunities for savvy stars.

Big Winners and Changing Tides

Not every celebrity venture on OnlyFans is everlasting. Blac Chyna departed the platform in March 2023 despite earning nearly $2 million (£1.51 million) over two years. Tyga also left, choosing to create a rival venture.

Meanwhile, Australian rapper Iggy Azalea held a record for highest monthly earnings, while YouTuber Piper Rockelle and rapper Lil Tay also saw impressive earnings shortly after joining.

Elizabeth's ongoing plans include hosting a charity gala in Las Vegas this June, seeking to leverage her newfound platform success to support her foundation. She told Variety that OnlyFans provides “a behind-the-scenes, unfiltered look at my life and a genuine connection that no other platform allows.”
