Community in Shock Over High School Gym's Risque Transformation

The San Dieguito Union High School District is facing major backlash after transforming the gymnasium at Canyon Crest Academy into the set of a 24-hour adult-themed game show over the weekend. Students and community members are outraged by this controversial decision, which seemed like an easy cash grab by the Canyon Crest Academy Foundation – the school’s fundraising arm.

This surprising move involved renting the gym to a production crew for a marathon adaptation of a Japanese game show, hosted by Twitch streamer Paymoneywubby and sponsored by the adult content platform Fansly. As part of the broadcast, contestants engaged in risqué challenges, including licking chocolate off the feet of Fansly models, sparking student outrage and demands for answers on how such activities were allowed on school premises.

Students and Parents Demand Accountability

The incident has left students demanding accountability from the foundation, which reportedly approved the rental. A video clip from the stream, which aired from December 6 to 7, revealed the Canyon Crest Academy logo on a red folding chair, blowing the cover on what was happening behind the closed gym doors.

“In a school, that can’t be good to wear here,” commented one contestant, referring to a sash labeled "pedophile," worn during the show.

The game show featured male contestants trying to evade masked "Oni" figures in a 24-hour tag game, with penalties ranging from being hit with pool noodles to answering inappropriate questions. Despite the uproar, Paymoneywubby’s lawyer stated no adult content was directly filmed at the school.

School Administration Faces the Heat

School officials, including Principal Brett Killeen, are now under pressure to explain how this event bypassed district standards. In an email to NBC, Killeen cited a breach of the facilities use agreement. Despite having prior notification of Fansly's involvement, it remains unclear if the school knew about the presence of their models on campus.

The district has not issued any public comments despite requests for clarification. As the situation unfolds, the community continues to seek answers and accountability for what many see as a glaring lapse in judgment.
