Jay Park Unveils LNGSHOT with a Bang

On September 19th, 2025, Jay Park pulled back the curtain on his much-anticipated boy group, LNGSHOT, under his agency's banner. The group made its first splash at the Hanyang University festival in Seoul, catching fans off guard with a surprise performance of an unreleased track. The buzz, however, truly ignited when Jay Park shared group photos on social media, featuring the band striking a bold middle-finger pose.

A Polarizing Introduction

The images quickly circulated online, stirring a mixed bag of reactions. While some netizens questioned the group's audacity, others criticized the poses as cultural appropriation. This hasn’t deterred Jay Park, who cheekily captioned the post with, “Aren’t my kids handsome? I can’t promise we’ll sell the most, but I can promise we’ll do K-pop the coolest,” adding the hashtag #middlefingertothenorm.

“We already have haters, that’s a great sign.”

Setting the Stage for a January Debut

Jay Park, known for his multifaceted career as a singer and record label founder, launched MORE VISION in March 2022 to foster new K-pop talent. His latest venture, LNGSHOT, features members OHYUL, RYUL, WOOJIN, and LOUIS, who are now on the brink of their official debut set for January 2026. With a few months to stoke intrigue, the group is poised to take the K-pop scene by storm.
