Maye Takes a Stand for Elon

Elon Musk's mom, Maye Musk, isn't holding back when it comes to defending her famous son against what she sees as relentless negativity in the media. On Thursday, February 19, Maye, 77, took to X with a candid message about her frustration with the media's portrayal of Elon. "I've been reading the dishonesty and extreme negativity in the mainstream media for 20 years," she wrote. "It is really hard to cope with hateful headlines when Elon is doing amazing things worldwide."

Maye, a celebrated author with two self-help books under her belt, also teased her latest project, hinting at a new book that will touch on her experiences "shaming the news outlets and the journalists on Twitter five years ago." Her post seems to echo her ongoing support for Elon, one of the world's wealthiest individuals, with a net worth estimated at $850 billion.

Family Support Amid Legal Battles

Maye's staunch defense of her son comes at a turbulent time, with Elon embroiled in a high-profile lawsuit with Ashley St. Clair, the mother of his son, Romulus. St. Clair has accused Elon's company, xAI, of generating explicit images of her without consent through its AI tool, Grok, leading to a legal storm. She claims the tool was used to create degrading content, and her legal team is pushing for a jury trial to hold xAI accountable.

In response, xAI filed a countersuit, asserting that St. Clair had agreed to resolve any disputes in Texas, where the company is based, rather than New York. The clash has garnered intense media scrutiny, making Maye's vocal support for her son particularly poignant given the circumstances.

“Every day, I’m happy that Elon bought Twitter and renamed it X,” Maye Musk expressed, underscoring her belief in her son's vision.

Elon’s Innovation and Controversy

The drama doesn’t stop there. A day before the lawsuit broke, X announced new rules to prevent Grok from manipulating images of real people in revealing clothing, aiming to enhance user safety on the platform. They emphasized their continued commitment to combatting child exploitation and non-consensual content.

Despite these challenges, Maye Musk's admiration for Elon remains unwavering. She's long believed in his genius, recalling a 2021 interview where she shared her early recognition of his extraordinary intellect. Her pride in his achievements is as strong as ever, even as legal and media challenges swirl around them.
