Meghan Trainor Opens Up About Motherhood and Feeling Sexy

Meghan Trainor, the pop sensation known for hits like "All About That Bass," is peeling back the layers of her life as a mom of three. Meghan, 32, recently shared with Us Weekly how the whirlwind life of parenting with husband Daryl Sabara, 33, impacts her sense of sensuality.

"There’s not a lot of time for sexiness when you have [kids that are] 5, 2 and a newborn," Meghan candidly revealed, acknowledging the rarity of intimate moments in her marriage. Yet, she remains hopeful for the future, admitting that she dreams of rekindling that feeling of hotness with Daryl once the kids grow older.

“It’s like a dream of mine someday to feel that hot again with my husband, and some nights I do," Meghan mused. "I don’t want to say once a month, but a couple times a month.”

New Music and Marriage Revelations

The singer-songwriter's latest album, Toy With Me, dropped on April 24 and includes the spicy track "Pink Cadillac," reflecting Meghan's playful take on Bruce Springsteen's classic. While she writes steamy songs, Meghan admits the real-life allure often feels like a fantasy.

The couple, who started their romance in 2014 and married in 2018, welcomed their daughter Mikey earlier this year. They have been open about their journey through surrogacy and couples therapy. Meghan detailed how therapy helped them navigate their differing realities, sharing a humorous anecdote about a potential parenting mishap involving chocolate waffles.

Strengthening Their Bond

With Daryl, support is never in short supply. Meghan recounts how his nightly affirmations reinforce their bond. "Every night he passes out at, like, 9, and I get up multiple times to go because I’ve had babies," she shared. "Every time I get back in bed, I wake him up a little bit, but not enough to be alive. And then he always rolls over and grabs me and is like, ‘You’re the only one I want forever and always. I need you now.’"

In a unique twist, Meghan and Daryl even had two side-by-side toilets in a previous home, a decision she fondly remembers. "It was the best decision I ever made," Meghan explained, highlighting how the unconventional setup symbolizes their understanding of true love.
