Michael and Catherine's Playful Golf Challenge

When it comes to keeping the spark alive, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones have quite the cheeky method. The "Wall Street" actor recently dished about a playful, NSFW golf bet with his Academy Award-winning wife, adding a bit of private fun to their rounds on the green.

During an interview with The Guardian, Douglas, now 78, was asked about a golf bet that first came to light in 2016 via Zeta-Jones. He confirmed that the "rules" for their game are still in full swing. "The rules are I have to whip it out if I don’t hit it past the ladies’ tees, which I manage most of the time," Douglas laughed, revealing that the bet leads to a little show when they play alone. "But only when I play with my wife."

“There have been times when we’re playing alone, and have to give her a little show because we are competitive," Douglas shared with a chuckle.

Catherine's Original Reveal

Zeta-Jones, 53, and Douglas have been married since 2000 and share two children together. The "Chicago" actress first divulged the humorous bet on "The Graham Norton Show" in 2016, joking that if Douglas "ducks a shot," it's time to drop his pants. She even quipped about paparazzi woes, saying, "There has been an issue with paparazzi, so I make him go into the bushes. A deal is a deal.”

The couple has always been candid about their relationship dynamics. Despite a rough patch in 2013, involving Douglas's controversial comments about his health, they reconciled and celebrated 22 years of marriage in November 2022.

A Relationship Tested and Triumphant

Douglas's previous remarks about contracting cancer from HPV, which led to a temporary split, had the public buzzing. "Without wanting to get too specific, this particular cancer is caused by HPV, which actually comes about from cunnilingus," he told The Guardian at the time. By 2015, Douglas expressed deep regret over the incident, emphasizing his love for Zeta-Jones.

"We had a little bump in the road. The problem in this business is that everything is so public," Douglas reflected. "I love Catherine as much, more than I ever have. And hopefully the feeling’s mutual."

Despite past challenges, the couple shines now, with Zeta-Jones even pulling off a heartwarming Thanksgiving surprise for Douglas in 2022. "He had no idea [we were coming]... I thought he was going to have a heart attack," she shared, reminiscing on their touching reunion.
