When it comes to intimacy, Nashville star Oliver Hudson holds nothing back. In a refreshingly candid interview with US Weekly, published on December 2, the actor revealed how his nearly 20-year marriage to Erinn Bartlett has reached new levels of closeness, thanks to his journey of mental health improvement.
Hudson, 49, gushed about his wife, saying, “She’s 52 and sexy as hell. Just sexy, sexy, sexy, hot and sexy.” He credits his self-discovery with allowing him to be more vulnerable, which has in turn “deepened the sex.” However, he quickly adds that their relationship is far from scripted romance, emphasizing that the real connection is what makes their intimate moments so much more fulfilling.
“It’s still crazy and nuts. It’s not like Red Shoe Diaries and smooth jazz is on and it’s all slow and beautiful, but there’s a connection that just makes it so much better.”
Oliver didn't stop at simply cherishing the chemistry with Erinn. He took proactive steps to handle his anxiety, which he admits had been affecting his personal life for years. By addressing his mental health, Hudson found a way to strengthen the love language he shares with his wife in the bedroom.
Every day, Hudson finds himself in awe of Erinn's beauty and presence. “I look at her every day, and I’m like, ‘God, she’s beautiful,’” he shared, highlighting the deep admiration he holds for his partner.
