Raising Concerns Over Extreme Stunts

Lucy Banks, who manages a public relations agency dedicated to adult content creators, is sounding the alarm on a worrying trend she’s witnessing among young women entering the OnlyFans scene. This trend, she claims, is driven by the notorious challenges popularized by Bonnie Blue. Banks revealed that she's frequently approached by women eager to replicate these headline-grabbing stunts.

“I'm approached by multiple women a week saying, ‘I need to do a stunt. I need something crazy to get into the media,’” Banks shared with The Sun. She cautions aspiring creators that the shock factor has lost its appeal with the media, and such antics are no longer the ticket to fame they might have once been.

The Unsustainable Benchmark Set by Bonnie Blue

Banks highlights the pressure on newcomers to emulate Bonnie Blue’s outrageous antics, worrying that it's set an unsustainable benchmark. "I've had two young women this week, in their early 20s, saying we need to organise a Bonnie Blue-style stunt. I hate that this has become the benchmark," she expressed. Banks argues that trying to replicate Blue won't yield the same results since Blue has already established her niche.

“The execution of these stunts is so difficult,” Banks noted. “I have enough trouble meeting five friends for brunch. You’re telling me that 500 guys are rocking up to the same place? It’s just not possible, logistically or physically.”

Challenges with OnlyFans' Policies

When clients come to her with extreme ideas, Banks issues a stern warning. She reminds them that OnlyFans’ content moderation policies strictly prohibit nudity in public places, a crucial factor that some seem to overlook. This concern was highlighted when Bonnie Blue was banned from the platform over a planned zoo-themed challenge.

Beyond logistics, Banks also questions the authenticity of some of these stunts. She points to a series of videos by Bonnie Blue, where she faked an arrest, using actors to draw attention to her OnlyFans content. Banks expressed her disapproval of such tactics, stating that they undermine the industry’s credibility.
