Riccardo Staudt, a 22-year-old German content creator on OnlyFans, has been identified as the young tourist who died after being pulled from a swimming pool in Paralimni, Cyprus. Online, he went by the name "Noah Segsy" and had built a notable following, particularly within the gay community.
Although he was visiting Cyprus at the time, Riccardo had set up a company in the country in 2023 with a registered address in Paralimni. Friends and followers have been left stunned as more details emerge about his sudden death.
Emergency services were called at about 9.20pm on 24 August after Riccardo was found unconscious in the swimming pool of an apartment complex. An ambulance transported the German tourist to Famagusta Hospital, but doctors were unable to save him and he was pronounced dead.
“His passing has come as a shock to those who knew him online and in person – he was known for creating with care, and his community is heartbroken.”
A post-mortem concluded that Riccardo died by drowning. Authorities in Paralimni are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, which local media described as occurring in a pool that was not particularly deep.
Toxicology tests were carried out, but there have been no reliable reports confirming whether alcohol, drugs or any other substances were in his system. Police say inquiries remain ongoing as they work to establish exactly how the accident happened.
A fundraiser has been launched to cover repatriation of Riccardo’s body to Germany and funeral costs. He is survived by his mother, Katharina, and his grandmother, Anita, who have been named in reports about his death.
The investigation continues and the creator community has offered condolences online as friends and family make arrangements.
