The Glamorous Showdown: OnlyFans Meets the Boxing Ring

She’s not just another pretty face on OnlyFans – Shannon Rose is making waves in the boxing world as she prepares for an electrifying match against Ash Heal, the fierce daughter of basketball icon Shane Heal. The much-anticipated bout is set to take place on Wednesday night at Sydney’s ICC Convention Theatre, where it will share the spotlight with Nikita Tszyu’s comeback against Lulzim Ismaili.

Rose, hailing from the Gold Coast, is passionate about her boxing career, despite having only one fight under her belt. “I want to go all the way to the top,” she confided to Code Sports. "I didn’t have an amateur career at all, so I’ve only had one fight so far. I’m a baby in the sport, but I want to go as far as I can.”

“Having that presence online means I’m able to be a full-time athlete and have a flexible training schedule and pay the rent," Rose explained.

Balancing the Spotlight: OnlyFans and Boxing

While Shannon aims to ascend the ranks of boxing legends like Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, she acknowledges the financial challenges of the sport. Many female fighters, including Rose, turn to platforms like OnlyFans to maintain their lifestyle and fund their athletic pursuits. "Even though women’s boxing is on the rise and we’re gaining opportunities, it’s not paying enough to make it a full-time career unless you’re right at the top," she shared.

Shannon’s journey into boxing was sparked by a desire for fitness, but her passion quickly ignited into a professional pursuit. Her late grandfather, Billy Stewart, was a professional boxer in Northern Ireland, and his legacy fuels her drive. "He was my best friend as a kid, so having that connection is a real motivation," Rose reflected.

Training with the Best: Preparing for the Big Fight

Training under Tapu Opetaia at the renowned Opetaia Boxing Gym, Shannon has been pushing her limits in preparation for her match against Ash Heal. "She’s tough, but she likes a challenge," praised Tapu. In a male-dominated training environment, Rose holds her own, often sparring with the boys to prepare for her opponents.

Ash Heal, with eight amateur fights under her belt, will be making her professional debut against Rose. Despite the odds, Shannon is ready to prove herself. "I’m the only female in our fight team, so I have to keep up with the boys," she said, determined to climb to the top of the boxing world.
