Prime Video's inaugural International Originals showcase in London put Indian content in the spotlight, revealing that a striking 25% of viewership for these shows now comes from outside India. The event was a testament to the platform's commitment to elevating stories beyond borders, with Indian Originals taking center stage.
Gaurav Gandhi, vice president of Prime Video APAC & ANZ, took the stage to highlight the growing international appetite for Asian storytelling. He noted, "We're witnessing Indian films and series becoming some of the most watched titles outside their home countries." This global traction was evident in the platform's Top 10 list of non-English language International Originals, which featured three Indian series: The Family Man Season 3, Panchayat Season 4, and Paatal Lok Season 2.
