In a bold move, former Supercars driver and current OnlyFans star Renee Gracie has teamed up with motorsport veteran Will Davison for the GT World Challenge Australia. Gracie, who's making waves both on and off the track, has secured Davison as her co-driver just after upgrading to a sleek Ferrari 296 GT3. The pair is set to tackle the Pro-Am division this season, bringing together Gracie's passion and Davison's extensive experience.
Davison is no stranger to the racetrack, boasting two Bathurst 1000 wins and a rich history with the Supercars circuit. Recently retired from full-time competition, he quickly found a new home as a co-driver for Grove Racing. The transition to racing alongside Gracie marks his second co-driver role this year, and it's clear he's eager to dive into the fast-paced world of GT3.
Gracie's journey to find the perfect co-driver wasn't without its bumps. Her affiliation with OnlyFans led some teams and sponsors to hesitate. However, with the help of Mark Griffith, a motorsport connection she credits for her racing return, Gracie found her match in Davison. "It was really early on just figuring out who was willing to drive a GT3 car, who was willing to drive with me," Gracie shared on Speedcafe.
“I really felt like Will could do that for me. He has so much experience, if there's anything that I get stuck on, he will be able to help me.”
Gracie is no novice to GTWC racing, but stepping into a shared car in the Pro-Am class introduces new hurdles, notably less time behind the wheel. However, with Davison's 599 Supercars starts, she's confident he's the perfect partner to optimize their time on and off the track.
The Phillip Island track will soon host Gracie and Davison for testing ahead of the season opener from March 27-29. Davison expressed enthusiasm about the prospect, seeing it as a valuable opportunity to hone his skills in GT3 and maintain his competitive edge for upcoming Supercar enduros. "Ultimately, this was a decision about racing," Davison told news.com.au, highlighting his excitement for the challenge.
Gracie's latest move illustrates her tenacity and dedication to motorsport, with Davison applauding her professionalism in orchestrating this ambitious program. As they prepare to hit the ground running, the duo's synergy is set to make waves in the racing world.
