Racing ace Renee Gracie is set to burn rubber under the OnlyFans Racing banner in the upcoming GT World Challenge Australia season. In a bold move, Gracie is swapping her trusted Audi for a Ferrari 296, marking a significant shift in her career. This will be Gracie's fourth year in the competition, but her first away from the Melbourne Performance Centre (MPC).
Gracie has spent the last three years behind the wheel of Audi cars, securing both the Trophy title in 2023 and the Am title in 2025. Now, she's eyeing the Pro-Am championship and sees the Ferrari 296 as the vehicle to get her there. "Being with MPC for the last three years has been great," Gracie shared in a candid chat with Speedcafe. "But I was looking at how I can remain competitive and keep winning championships."
“Change is good and being a new car there’s a lot of potential there.”
Gracie admits the decision wasn't easy, citing the challenge of leaving her comfort zone. But she's confident that the newer Ferrari platform will enhance her performance and increase her chances of clinching the coveted Pro-Am title.
Gracie's move is driven by a desire to pilot a cutting-edge machine, with the Ferrari 296 introduced as recently as 2023. While the Audi R8 remains a competitive veteran on the grid, Gracie believes that the advanced technology in the Ferrari could give her an edge. "If the Audi situation were potentially different, my thought processes could have been swayed," she noted, acknowledging the lack of factory support in the background.
After initial testing, Gracie was pleased with the Ferrari's "user-friendly" nature and its impressive balance. While her co-driver remains under wraps, she's hinted at securing a high-profile Pro partner soon. The race car will sport a sleek white and blue look – Gracie's signature colors. With her ambitious goals and a fresh start, Gracie is revved up for a thrilling season ahead.
