In 2025, Californians proved to be major supporters of OnlyFans, the subscription-based platform originally created for influencers and artists, but now a powerhouse in adult entertainment. The Golden State spent a staggering $350.6 million on the platform, according to OnlyGuider's comprehensive OnlyFans Wrapped 2025 report. This makes California the top spender nationwide, amidst an impressive $2.63 billion in total U.S. spending.
Despite the high dollar amount, California's per capita spending ranked just 10th overall, with residents spending $88,916 for every 10,000 people. The spending figures were based on data from OnlyGuider, an independent search engine specializing in OnlyFans analytics, which also provided detailed breakdowns by state, city, and county.
"California continues to be a leader in digital content consumption, reflecting its diverse and tech-savvy population," stated an industry analyst.
Sacramento County made a strong showing, ranking sixth among California counties. The county's total outlay on OnlyFans hit $17.4 million, equating to $106,928 spent per 10,000 residents. Nationally, this placed Sacramento County at number 75 on a per-capita basis and number 20 in terms of overall expenditure.
Across the state, other areas also led the charge. Los Angeles County topped the charts with a whopping $105.5 million spend, while Plumas County, although spending less in total, ranked high per capita. Cities like Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco also featured prominently, displaying high spending figures that secured their spots in the top 100 nationwide.
Zooming out to the national scene, the District of Columbia took a surprising lead with the highest per capita spending on OnlyFans, dishing out $129,655 per 10,000 residents for a total of $9.1 million. Other big spenders included North Dakota, Nevada, Colorado, and Illinois, each contributing significant amounts to the platform's success in 2025.
Despite the impressive numbers in certain areas, not all states matched this level of enthusiasm. Mississippi rounded out the list with the lowest per capita spending, highlighting a stark contrast in OnlyFans consumption across different regions of the United States.
