Elayna Black is not shying away from addressing the misconceptions surrounding her career choices. During a revealing chat with Sports Jedi Network's "May The Sports Be With You!", Black tackled the issue head-on, addressing fans who question her seriousness as a wrestler simply because she has an OnlyFans account.
She didn't hold back when asked about common misunderstandings, pointing to the judgment she receives over her OnlyFans presence. Black expressed frustration, saying that some view her platform as a reason to not take her wrestling career seriously.
"I think the most obvious answer is because I have an OnlyFans platform... people look at that and immediately... lose respect for me or don’t take me seriously... just because they have misconceptions."
Black made a clear statement about her right to make personal choices without being judged. She believes if one is comfortable and not harming others, they should freely pursue their interests. "But I think if you have the ability to and you’re comfortable... you are allowed to do whatever you want with it," she asserted, adding that she enjoys participating in "cute photo shoots" and sees no harm in it.
In her candid conversation, Black also noted that having multiple income streams does not diminish her love for wrestling. She finds it absurd that her OnlyFans account could make people think she’s less passionate about her sport.
"I’m blessed to be able to make a living with the income from another source as well, which I think a lot of people, if they could, they would."
Black wrapped up her thoughts by addressing critics directly. She highlighted that she's grown beyond caring about baseless opinions, emphasizing her gratitude for supporters who understand her journey. She’s not looking for approval from those unwilling to understand her choices, nor is she planning to change her straightforward nature.
"And I think I would say another misconception is I think I’m just very blunt and I tell it how it is... I think maybe it kind of makes some people uncomfortable, but that’s just kind of always how I’ve been and I don’t plan on changing anytime soon."
