Margot Robbie's headline-grabbing, NSFW film, The Wolf of Wall Street, is gearing up to hit Hulu's streaming platform. Directed by the legendary Martin Scorsese, this film made waves upon its initial release for its bold content and profane language. Despite the controversy, it snagged five Academy Award nominations, including one for Best Picture.
Beginning July 1, 2026, both English and Spanish versions of The Wolf of Wall Street will be available on Hulu. The film features an ensemble cast with Margot Robbie, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Jonah Hill leading the charge. Audience members can also look forward to memorable performances by Matthew McConaughey, Kyle Chandler, Rob Reiner, Jon Bernthal, Jon Favreau, and Cristin Milioti.
“This movie is a roller-coaster of excess and drama that you won't want to miss,” said a Hulu spokesperson.
Based on Jordan Belfort’s 2007 memoir, the movie follows Belfort’s meteoric rise and fall as a stockbroker mired in corruption and fraud. Margot Robbie's portrayal of Naomi Lapaglia, inspired by Belfort's real-life second wife Nadine Macaluso, is one of many standout performances that contributed to the film's acclaim.
Released by Paramount Pictures, The Wolf of Wall Street premiered at New York's iconic Ziegfeld Theatre on December 17, 2013, before its Christmas Day wide release. The film grossed an impressive $407 million globally, easily surpassing its $100 million budget. Critics and audiences alike praised the film, with Rotten Tomatoes awarding it a 79% critical approval rating and an 83% audience score. Metacritic echoed this sentiment, giving it a 75 Metascore and a user score of 8.1.
