Deep in the Heart of Texas, Wallets Open for OnlyFans

In a show of spending power, Texans splurged a whopping $248.4 million on OnlyFans in 2025, placing the Lone Star State 21st among all U.S. states for investment in the platform, according to OnlyGuider data. This London-based subscription service, designed for users 18 and over, markets itself as an empowering tool for creators to monetize content and foster genuine connections with fans. However, it hasn’t been without its share of scrutiny.

OnlyFans has found itself under the microscope of the U.S. House of Representatives, facing allegations of child exploitation and sex trafficking. Moreover, it has been embroiled in legal battles over its online chat practices. Despite these controversies, Texans continue to dive deep into the platform’s offerings, with cities like Dallas leading the charge.

Dallas Leads, Taylor Trails

Within Texas, Dallas emerged as the top city, as residents there spent an eye-catching $26.2 million on OnlyFans subscriptions. On the other end of the spectrum, Taylor County ranked 127th out of 253 reporting counties, contributing $1 million to the total spend. This puts Dallas at the forefront of the state’s engagement with the platform.

“It’s fascinating to see such a varied level of engagement within the state,” commented a representative from OnlyGuider.

The study also highlighted spending in other counties: Nueces County (Corpus Christi) shelled out $2.3 million, while Lubbock County (Lubbock) followed with $2.1 million. Potter and Randall counties (Amarillo) spent $1.92 million, and Midland County (Midland) added $1.7 million to the total.

Beyond the Big Cities

Smaller counties also made their contributions known. Smith County (Tyler) reported spending $1.4 million, while Wichita County (Wichita Falls) came close with $960,000. Meanwhile, Tom Green County (San Angelo) and Gregg County (Longview) accounted for $850,000 and $770,000, respectively. These figures underscore the widespread appeal and reach of OnlyFans across Texas' diverse regions.

The financial commitment of Texans to OnlyFans illustrates the platform's pervasive draw, despite ongoing controversies and legal challenges. It remains to be seen how future legal and societal developments will impact these spending habits.
