Unveiling the Top Searches: Pride Month's Surprises

This Pride Month, Pornhub has unveiled intriguing insights into the most-searched terms and performers in the realm of gay adult content. According to a report highlighted by OUT, the term "femboy" emerged as the runaway favorite among users this month, overshadowing long-time favorite "twink." While "twink" has maintained its popularity globally, it has been recently outpaced in the U.S. by the term "Black," which took the lead last year.

Interestingly, the audience demographics for gay adult content reveal a near-even split between male and female viewers. This year, 49.7% of viewers are women, up from 47% last year, suggesting a growing interest among female audiences. Users aged 18 to 24 continue to dominate the platform, with a noteworthy fascination for cartoon content.

“The evolving interests and demographics are shaping a new landscape in adult content consumption,” commented a representative from Pornhub.

Tyler Wu Tops the Performer List

In a shake-up of top performers, Tyler Wu has claimed the number one spot as the most-searched gay adult performer, dethroning last year’s favorite, Malik Delgaty, who now ranks second. Other names capturing audiences' attention include Ethan Lestray, Legrand Wolf, and Falcon Al, rounding out the top five. Absent from this year's list are Joey Mills, Foxy Alex, and Rhyheim Shabazz, who previously had a strong presence.

The report not only provides insights into individual performers but also highlights regional engagement. Rhode Island and Maryland have the highest usage rates, while the District of Columbia stands out for consuming 35% more content than the national average.

Overall, Pornhub's data offers a fascinating glimpse into the evolving preferences and viewing habits in gay adult content, marking shifts in both search trends and audience demographics.
